The Gators' baseball team was the final program to end their season two weeks ago after a great run. Hats off to them. So, what do we do now? We're all sitting on our hands waiting for football season to start. That is, unless you have a favorite MLB team who's still in contention to keep you distracted from the boredom. Unfortunately for me, my favorite MLB team was mathematically eliminated from contention during Spring Training (I won't name who, but they're a festering pile of shit on the north side of a certain Midwest city, I've said too much), so I bring you the final installment of TUG's summer classic series. This piece was originally written on December 23, 2010 as a nice little holiday treat looking back on what a shitty season Florida had in 2010. Since this is the last TUG CLASSIC of the summer, that means I'll be posting new material hopefully by the end of this month and no later than the first week of August, so keep an eye out for that.
