The Mailsack: 6/10/12

This is the first installment of a new feature where I answer your questions. Let's get to it!

Hey, why did the Gators let Bradley Beal go to the NBA1?! He was there best player! This is why Billy Donovan can't win a championship anymore! He can't keep any of his players! He can't even keep Walton Pitchford from leaving! He just not a good recruiter. Calipari is kicking his ass and it's gonna continue until one of them leaves. Billy shoulda went to the Magic when he had the chance.
-Wesley

Wesley, you poor, dumb motherfucker. Are you sure you're not a Miami Hurricanes fan? You stupid asshole. Please don't ever send me a question again.

Commissioners And Presidents Finally Agree On Two Team Playoff Decided By Computers

After spending much of the college football offseason discussing a possible playoff system, conference commissioners and school presidents have finally agreed upon a two team playoff that is fair to all conferences and teams. The new playoff will determine the top two teams by using three elements: The USA Today Coaches Poll, the Harris Interactive College Football Poll, and a computer poll comprised of six computer rankings. These three elements will be averaged together with the total ranking falling between .0000 and 1.0000. The two teams with the highest decimal will play each other on a neutral field. "This is a historic day for college football," said SEC commissioner, Mike Slive. "I think the fans are going to really love this new playoff format." This change brings an end to the much hated BCS formula and also keeps the bowls in place, so fans of the Gildan New Mexico Bowl and the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl don't have to worry about losing those longstanding traditions. "I can't wait to see one of our fine Big East institutions represent us in this two team playoff," said interim Big East commissioner, Joseph Bailey as the other conference commissioners laughed hysterically behind him.
